Air Plants
Air plants can grow literally anywhere—no soil needed. We love them propped up on a shelf, or hanging mid-air. To water, dunk them every 10 days and let them dry out after in a sunny spot.
Regarding this, what shrubs dont need a lot of water?
Drought Tolerant Flowering Shrubs
- Butterfly bush (Buddleia davidii)
- Forsythia (Forsythia spp.)
- Japanese flowering quince (Chaenomeles x superba)
- Lilac (Syringa spp.)
- Panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata)
In respect to this, do hydrangeas need a lot of water?
Deeply water 3 times a week to encourage root growth. Bigleaf and smooth hydrangeas require more water, but all varieties benefit from consistent moisture. Use a soaker hose to water deeply and keep moisture off the flowers and leaves. Watering in the morning will help prevent hydrangeas from wilting during hot days.
